The Florida State University Football team is in Tallahassee, Florida. The Seminoles play their home games in The Doak Campbell Stadium. Their head coach is Bobby Bowden, a coach that has won more games than any other coach in NCAA Division I-A football except for one, Jo Paterno. The Seminoles have two National Championships (1993 and 1999) and two Heisman Trophy winners (1993 and 2000) both were quarterbacks, Charlie Ward and Chris Weinke. The Seminoles had a 14 year streak of being in the top 5 of the AP Poll that started in 1987 and lasted till 2000.

Florida State has two rivals, The Miami Hurricanes and The Florida Gators The Seminoles have played the Gators 51 times with the Gators having the upper hand with a record of 32–19–2 .
