The University if Illinois is the home of the Fighting Illini NCAA football team. Illinois plays in the Big Ten conference with Ron Zook as the head coach. The Illini have have many rivals (Indiana Hoosiers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Purdue Boilermakers, Northwestern Wildcats). The winner would get the Sweet Sioux Tomahawk trophy which is a wooden Native American trophy but the two schools retired the beloved trophy in 2008 to remove Native American imagery from college athletics.
